همه‌ی ما گاهی اوقات کارها را به زمان دیگری موکول می‌کنیم و با این پدیده آشنا هستیم.

زمانی که کارها را به تعویق می‌اندازیم، درواقع زمان آزاد را هدر می‌دهیم و کارهای مهمی را که به‌عهده داریم، به آخرین لحظات موکول می‌کنیم.

در چنین لحظه‌هایی به شدت دچار اضطراب می‌شویم و افسوس می‌خوریم که ای کاش کارمان را زودتر شروع کرده بودیم.

 اینکه انجام دادن کار یا تکلیف مدرسه رو عقب بندازین و به جاش بازی کامپیوتری مورد علاقه‌تون رو بازی کنین یا به گلدون‌ها آب بدین ممکنه فقط یه جور عدم توانایی در مدیریت زمان به نظر بیاد.

ولی طبق گزارشی که توی وال استریت ژورنال منتشر شده، محقق‌ها می‌گن به تعویق انداختن کار‌ها اگه به‌ صورت عادت باشه، بیشتر یه‌جور استراتژی احساسی برای کنترل کردن استرسه، و می‌تونه مشکلات زیادی رو در روابط شخصی، شغلی، مسائل مالی و سلامت فردی شخص به وجود بیاره.

چرا کارهای‌مان را به تعویق می‌اندازیم؟ چند دلیل برای این امر وجود دارد:

۱. شاید نمی‌دانیم چگونه کارمان را شروع کنیم.

۲. کار ممکن است بزرگ و ترسناک باشد.

۳. شاید اطلاعات و دانش ضروری برای انجام کار را نداشته باشیم.

۴. کار را دوست نداریم.

۵. احساس می‌کنیم که صبر و نیروی لازم برای کار را نداریم.

۶. درگیر مسائل دیگر هستیم.

دانشمندان می‌گن به تعویق انداختن یعنی به تاخیر انداختن داوطلبانه انجام یک کار، علی‌رغم اطلاع از عواقب منفی آن در آینده.

یعنی انتخاب یه لذت زودگذر به جای انتخاب لذت وخوشی در درازمدت.

مثلا شما باید آخر هفته روی یک ارائه کار می‌کردین ولی این کار رو نکردین چون مهمون دعوت کردین خونه‌تون.

 

 

چگونه از به تعویق انداختن کارهای‌مان جلوگیری کنیم؟

  1. بلند شوید و حرکت کنید.

    یکی از بهترین راه‌ها برای تغییر رویه به تعویق انداختن کارها، تغییر چشم‌انداز است.

به جای نشستن پای کامپیوتر یا تلویزیون در تمام مدت، چند حرکت کششی انجام دهید.

2. کارتان را به بخش‌های کوچک‌تر تقسیم کنید

یکی از دلایلی که باعث می‌شود کارها را به زمان دیگری موکول کنیم این است که:

به صورت ناخودآگاه تصور می‌کنیم که کار برای‌ ما بیش از اندازه حجیم است.

پیشنهاد می‌کنیم کار اصلی را به بخش‌های کوچک‌تر تقسیم کرده و به صورت مجزا روی هر مرحله تمرکز کنید.

اگر مشکل برطرف نشد، باید این کار را ادامه دهید و بخش‌ها را کوچک‌تر کنید.

به زودی متوجه می‌شوید وظیفه‌ای که به عهده دارید، ساده‌تر از چیزی است که تصور می‌کنید و ترجیح می‌دهید که بلافاصله کار را تمام کنید.

3. با افرادی معاشرت کنید که انگیزه‌ی لازم را در شما ایجاد می‌کنند

بدون شک اگر ده دقیقه با افرادی مثل بیل گیتس و استیو جابز صحبت کنید، حتما انگیزه‌ی لازم برای کارکردن را پیدا خواهید کرد.

افرادی که با آنها معاشرت می‌کنیم بر رفتارهایمان تأثیر می‌گذارند.

قطعا نمی‌توانیم به «بیل گیتس» و «استیو جابز» دسترسی داشته باشیم، اما این ویژگی در هر حالتی قابل اجراست.

از میان دوستان، ‌خانواده، همکارها و غیره، با افرادی معاشرت کنید که انگیزه و نیروی محرکه‌ی لازم را ایجاد می‌کنند؛

این افراد معمولا سخت کوشی بیشتری دارند.

به‌زودی متوجه می‌شوید که روحیه و انرژی آنها به شما نیز منتقل شده است.

  1. بازه‌های زمانی را برنامه‌ریزی کنید.

    اگر می‌دانید که وظایفی برای انجام دادن دارید و باید وقت زیادی را روی آن‌ها بگذارید، تقویم خود را بیرون بیاورید و برای بازه‌های زمانی برنامه‌ریزی کنید.

  2. این موضوع باعث می‌شود برنامه کاری‌تان تنظیم شود و بتوانید بر به تعویق انداختن کارها فائق آیید.
  3. لیست وظایف را دنبال کنید.
    بدون دانستن آنکه باید چه کار کنید، انجام دادن کارها سخت است.

با خود لیست انجام وظایف داشته باشید تا بدانید که کار درست را در زمان درست انجام می‌دهید.

4. ترس خود را بشناسید و با آن روبه‌رو شوید.
در اکثر مواقع، زمانی کاری را به تعویق می‌اندازیم که از آن ترس داریم.

سعی کنید ترس خود را پیدا کنید و با آن رو‌به‌رو شوید.

سپس می‌توانید کار کردن را شروع کنید.

5. بدانید که هیچ چیز کامل نیست.
اگر نمی‌توانید کاری را انجام دهید مگر آنکه آن کار بطور تمام و کمال انجام شود، باید کره زمین را ترک کنید! هیچ چیز کامل نیست.

چیزی واقعی و عالی ایجاد کنید. همین کار به اندازه کافی خوب است.

6. سازش نکنید.
فکر نکنید “تنبل هستید” و “همینی که هستید خواهید بود”.

این درست نیست و اجازه ندهید که این گونه باشید. شما می‌توانید با تعویق انداختن مبارزه کنید.

  1. هر چیزی را که در مسیر کارتان مانع ایجاد می‌کند از سر راه بردارید از جمله خاموش کردن اینترنت.
  2. در ارتباط با کاری که می‌کنید چیزی پیدا کنید که برایتان هیجان‌آور و شوق‌انگیز باشد.
