در روانشناسی تخصصی کودک و نوجوان یکی از مسایلی که مطرح می شود مصاحبه بالینی با کودک و نوجوان است. مصاحبه های بالینی با کودکان می تواند با اهداف مختلفی انجام میشود. شکل، محتوا و شیوه ی بیان این مصاحبه ها، بسته به نوع آن متغیر است. کودکان اغلب توسط دیگران برای مصاحبه می آیند و ممکن است هیچ علاقه ای به اینکه مورد مصاحبه قرار گیرند، نداشته باشند. گاهی به جای کودک، نوجوان است که خواهان انجام مصاحبه می شود که البته در این صورت مصاحبه آسانتر خواهد بود.
اهدافی که در مصاحبه بالینی کودک و نوجوان دنبال میشود:
1- ملاحظات تحولی
اگر بخواهیم مصاحبه با کودکان مصاحبه ای مفید و موثر باشد، باید جنبه های تحولی و رشدی آنها را مورد توجه قرار دهیم. کودکان، وقایع درونی و شخصی را دریافت کرده و مفهوم سازی می کنند و در مقابل آن واکنشی متناسب با سطح رشد خود نشان می دهند. توانایی آنها در مفهوم سازی انگیزش ها، احساسات و رفتار خود و دیگران در طول زمان به گونه ای چشمگیر تغییر میکند. همچنین درک آنها با استدلال های اجتماعی و توانایی شان در استنتاج الگوهای قابل پیش بینی در محیط اجتماعی نیز تغییر می کند. تفکر کودکان در سال های اولیه ی زندگی، عینی است و توانایی تفکر انتزاعی وجود ندارد. دیدگاه ها و پاسخ های آنها وابسته به موقعیت های آنی وابسته است و نمی توانند مسایل را از دیدگاه وسیعتری ببینند. همچنین دایره ی لغات آنها محدود است به طوری که آنها افکار خود را از طریق بازی و سایر ابزار غیرمستقیم بیان می کنند.
2- مبارزه طلبی
مصاحبه با کودکان و نوجوانان توسط روانشناس کودک و نوجوان، چالش های زیادی را در بر دارد. این مصاحبه ها با مصاحبه هایی که با بزرگسالان فرق دارد و هر اندازه که سن مصاحبه شونده کمتر باشد، این تفاوت بیشتر خواهد بود. بعضی از دلایل این تفاوت ها در زیر آمده است:
_ رشد مهارت های شناختی و کودکان ضعیف تر از اغلب افراد بزرگسال است.
_ کودکان بیشتر توسط دیگران به جلسات مصاحبه ارجاع داده می شوند.
_ کودکان غالبا به دلیل بدرفتاری مورد مصاحبه قرار می گیرد.
_ بسیاری از نوجوانان، هنگام آماده شدن برای مصاحبه بیمار می شوند.
_ بسیاری از کودکان و نوجوانان، نسبت به روانپزشکان، روانشناسان بدبین هستند. رایجترین این بدبینی ها این است که وقتی فرد توسط یکی از این افراد مورد مصاحبه قرار می گیرد، به این دلیل است که دیوانه یا احمق است یا اینکه حداقل یک نفر این طور فکر می کند.
_ مشکلات ارتباطی، مشکلاتی هستند که کودکان را تحت تاثیر قرار می دهد. نمونه هایی از این مشکلات عبارتند از: عقب ماندگی ذهنی، ناشنوایی، لکنت و اختلالات مربوط به تکلم.
3- انعطاف پذیری
مطالب فوق، بیانگر نیاز به وجود یک روش انعطاف پذیر برای مصاحبه با کودکان می باشد. مصاحبه های خشک و انعطاف ناپذیر در این زمینه کارایی ندارد. روانشناس کودک باید از همان جلسات اولیه نسیت به بازخوردهایی که کودک در رفتار خود نشان میدهد هوشیار باشد( چه بازخوردهای کلامی، چه بازخوردهای غیرکلامی).
4- نیاز به برقراری ارتباط
تعریف ارتباط به همان اندازه که برای موفقیت مصاحبه لازم است، به همان اندازه نیز مشکل می باشد. ارتباط چیزی ورای اعتماد و اطمینان است. حالتی است که از درک متقابل، هماهنگی و توافق افراد ناشی می شود و در نتیجه ی آن طرفین همبستگی دلسوزانه یا رابطه ی گرم و صمیمی را نسبت به یکدیگر احساس می نمایند.
5- سوالال های باز در مقابل سوال های بسته
نمونه هایی از سوال های بسته عبارتند از : آیا وقتی که ماشین نزدیک چهار راه رسید، چراغ راهنمایی قرمز بود؟ ، آیا راننده به هنگام دور زدن از چراغ راهنما استفاده نمد؟ از طرف دیگر این سوال که: دوست دارید از کجا شروع کنید؟ یک سوال بازپاسخ است. سوال های باز پاسخ به پاسخ دهنده این امکان را می دهد که در پاسخ دادن آزاد باشد. هر چه که سن کودک کمتر باشد بهتر است که از سوال های بسته استفاده شود مثل اینکه: تو چند تا برادر و خواهر داری؟ تو بیشتر با چه کسی بازی می کنی؟ یک مصاحبه نباید حالت بازجویی داشته باشد بلکه بیشتر باید شبیه یک مکالمه باشد تا یک سری سوالات.
6- سوال های ساده در مقابل سوال های پیچیده
به طور کلی پرسیدن سوال های ساده نسبت به سوال های پیچیده ارجحیت دارد. سوال های چند گزینه ای تعدادی از پاسخ های ممکن را به آزمودنی ارائه می دهد. این نوع سوالات به این دلیل می توانند مفید باشند که به کمک آنها می توان از مراجعانی که دارای مشکلات ارتباطی بوده و نمی توانند به سوال های مصاحبه گر به طور دقیق پاسخ دهند، اطلاعاتی را بیرون کشید.
7- مصاحبه یک فرایند دوجانبه است
باید بدانیم که روانشناس کودک و نوجوان چه بخواهد و چه نخواهد همان طور که اطلاعاتی را از مصاحبه شونده به دست می آورد اطلاعاتی را نیز در اختیار او قرار می دهد. هر چند که ممکن است روانشناس به عنوان مصاحبه گر نخواهد اطلاعاتی را در زمینه ی زندگی شخصی، ظاهر رفتار، طرز صحبت و واکنش ها و سایر جنبه های زندگی خصوصی خود در اختیار مصاحبه شونده قرار دهد اما روش صحبت و عکس العمل های او در مقابل مصاحبه شونده خود به خود مطالبی را در اختیار او قرار می دهد.
