روش های ایجاد انگیزه در دانش آموزان
برای ایجاد انگیزه در دانش آموزان، معلمان و مربیان می توانند از روش های زیر بهره گیرند:
۱- طرح مطالب درسی به صورت پرسش های جالب: مطلب یا موضوعی را که می خواهیم کودک و نوجوان یاد بگیرد به صورت پرسش یا پرسش هایی روشن و جالب، که آنها را به فعالیت ذهنی و پویندگی ترغیب نماید، مطرح کنیم. برای مثال، اگر می خواهیم راجع به خصوصیات «کتاب خوب» چیزی یاد بدهیم، بهتر است به جای این که خود شروع به بیان و توضیح آن کنیم، از کودکان و یا نوجوانان بپرسیم: «به نظر شما یک کتاب خوب دارای چه خصوصیاتی است؟» (شهرآرای، ۱۳۷۲).

٣- وقتی دانش آموزی در اثر شکست در درس تازه نسبت به آن درس نگرش منفی پیدا می کند، باید به او کمک کرد تا در درس تازه موفقیت کسب کند و در نتیجه به تصویری مثبت تر نسبت به توانایی خود در مورد یادگیری مطلب درسی دست یابد، زیرا یادگیری همراه با موفقبت به ایجاد انگیزه منجر می شود.
۴- تجربه و تماس مستقیم با مطالب درسی: سعی کنیم دانش آموز آن چه را می خواهد یاد بگیرد، با آن تماس پیدای تجربه ی مستقیم و عملی داشته باشد. برای مثال، اگر می خواهید کودکان در سنین قبل از دبستان رنگ های اصلی را یاد بدهیم، بهتر است که این رنگ ها را در اختیار آنها قرار دهیم تا ببینند و نام آن ها را بشنوند.
۵- آنچه را از دانش آموزان به عنوان هدف آموزشی انتظار داریم در آغاز درس دقیقا برای آنان بگوییم.
۶- هدف هایی را که مطرح می کنیم باید روشن، معین و متناسب با توانایی دانش آموزان باشد.
٧- اجرای نقش: خوب است که در زمینه ی بعضی از موضوع ها، مانند تاریخ، ادبیات، دین و … دانش آموزان را تشویق کنیم تا موضوع مورد نظر را به صورت نمایش درآورند. اجرای نقش تنها در زمینه ی آموزش، بلکه در مورد فهماندن مسائل تربیتی و اخلاقی نیز می تواند مفید باشد.
۸- در شرایط مقتضی از تشویق های کلامی استفاده کنیم. استفاده از کلماتی چون خوب، آفرین، مرحبا و عالی، پس از عملکرد درست دانش آموز، از تدابیر مؤثر در ایجاد انگیزه است.
9- باید ۔ شرایطی را فراهم کرد که دانش آموز موفقیت خود را احساس کند، زیرا هیچ چیز مانند خود موفقیت به موفقیت کمک نمی کند.
۱۰- تکالیفی را که ارائه می کنید باید نه بسیار مشکل باشد و نه ساده.
۱۱- باید از ارائه ی تکالیف یکنواخت پرهیز کرد، به عبارت دیگر باید از خاصیت برانگیختگی مطالب مختلف استفاده نمود.
۱۲- مشخص کردن نحوه ی انجام کار برای یادگیرنده: یکی از دلایل بی علاقگی بعضی از یادگیرندگان به برخی دروس آن است که نمی دانند چگونه این فعالیت ها باید انجام شوند. کاری را که دانش آموز قرار است انجام دهد باید دقیقا مشخص کنیم. این امر را باید به خصوص در مورد کودکان رعایت نمود، زیرا آنها در بسیاری از موارد نیاز به راهنمایی دارند و اگر به درستی بدانند که باید چه کاری را به چه نحو انجام دهند، غالبا آن را با علاقه دنبال می کنند و به خوبی به پایان می رسانند.

۱۹. می توان با فعال نمودن دانش آموز در هنگام تدریس و وادار ساختن وی به انجام کارهایی درباره ی درس، در او انگیزه ی قوی ایجاد کرد.
۲۰- به وضع جسمانی دانش آموزان خود و وضع ظاهری کلاس باید توجه داشت. برای مثال، باید به خاطر داشت که دانش آموزان ممکن است گهگاه گرسنه یا تشنه باشند. این نکته، ساده به نظر می رسد اما اغلب فراموش می شود.
۲۱- کلاس درس را باید از نظر ظاهری و روانی تبدیل به محیطی امن و آرامش بخش نمود.

۲۷- روشن کردن انتظارات مربیان و والدین برای یادگیرنده: انتظاراتی که مربی یا والدین از دانش آموزان دارند باید مشخص و قابل فهم باشد، یعنی هر دانش آموز باید بداند از او چه انتظاری دارند. روشن نبودن انتظارات غالبأ باعث می شود که دانش آموز، بیشتر و یا کم تر از آن چه انتظار می رود به فعالیت بپردازد. دانش آموز سعی می کند خود را با انتظارات مربیان و والدین تطبیق دهد، لذا از نظر تربیتی بسیار مهم است که ما از آنها انتظاراتی صحیح و در حد توانشان داشته باشیم و این انتظارات را به روشنی توضیح دهیم تا دانش آموز برداشت صحیحی از آنها داشته باشد، یعنی اشتباه نفهمد و اگر چیزی را اشتباه فهمید و بد عمل کرد، هر چه زودتر اقدام اصلاحی لازم را به عمل آورد.
