ذهن نیمه هوشیار ما،مجموعه ای از تمام اندیشه های ماست و رایج ترین اندیشه های ما قوی ترین رفتار ناهوشیارمان را به وجود می آورد.

برای درک بهتر((مثبت اندیشیدن)) لازم است ذهن نیمه هوشیار خود را بشناسیم.فرض کنید مغزتان به شکل گردویی بزرگ است که به دو قسمت تقسیم شده؛ قسمت بالایی و پایینی.قسمت بالا ذهن هوشیار و افکار در حال گذر شماست و قسمت پایین،ذهن نیمه هوشیار شماست.در قسمت نیمه هوشیار برنامه های مختلفی وجود دارد که با آن ها به دنیا آمده اید،مانند نفس کشیدن، گوارش و برنامه های دیگری که بعد ها فرا می گیرید، مثل حرف زدن و راه رفتن.

حالا فرض کنید می خواهید رانندگی یاد بگیرید.هر زمان که به مانعی میرسید، اندیشه ی هوشیار شما در قسمت بالایی به مغز فرمان می دهد که پای راست را بلند کن، دوازده سانتی متر به چپ ببر و به آرامی روی پدال ترمز فشار بده.با تکرار این کار، بعد از گذشت چند ماه این عادت به صورت خودکار در قسمت هوشیار مغزتان جای می گیرد و بعد ها این کار را به صورت خودکار، بدون اینکه به ترمز فکر کنید انجام داده و بر روی آن فشار می آوردید.به تدریج برنامه ی ترمز کردن در قسمت پایین مغزتان ریشه دوانده و شما صاحب یک برنامه ی نیمه هوشیار جدید می شوید.

به این ترتیب شما یک راننده ی با تجربه شده و بعد از رانندگی چند ساعته به مقصد می رسید و به خود می گویید :((حتی فکر نمی کردم روزی رانندگی کنم!)).تمام این کار ها را ذهن نیمه هوشیار تان انجام داده است.هر فکر هوشیاری که به مرور زمان تکرار شود مغز آن را به عنوان یک برنامه قبول می کند.
