چگونگی ایجاد روحیه ی پذیرش و مثبت اندیشی در خانواده:

1- خانواده را هم چون یک پروژه در نظر بگیرید:

زندگی خانوادگی خود را چون یک پروژه قلمداد کنید. یعنی آگاهانه تصمیم به اقدام بگیرید و هدفمند برای ارتقاء شرایط خانوادگی کار کنید و لحظه ای از آن غافل نشوید.

_ برای کار و شغل خود زمانبندی جدیدی طراحی کنید، تا وقت کافی برای با کودکان خود بودن را داشته باشید.

_ روش های عادی و معمول زندگی خود را تغییر دهید، تا وقت بیشتری برای کودکتان اختصاص دهید مثل کتاب خواندن برای کودکان هنگام خواب یا بازی کردن با آنها و یا تماشای فیلم سینمایی و تعطیلات پایان هفته.

_ با خانواده قرار بگذارید و به آن پایبند باشید. هر روز ساعتی را به خانواده اختصاص دهید.

_ به بچه هایتان کمک کنید تا اهداف خود را مشخص کرده و به آنها برسند.

_ با دلسوزی ایده هایی را اتخاذ کنید که در مورد آنها تعهد داشته باشید.برای انجام تعهدات کوشا باشید و کارهایتان را عملی سازید و آنچه را که میخواهید، از این راه داشته باشید. سعی کنید به صورت هفتگی، ماهیانه یا موقت برای خانواده ی خود کار کنید.

2- در مورد وضعیت پروژه ی خود متعد باشید تا اعتبار اعضای خانواده ی خود را کشف و آشکار سازید.

_ درب را به سوی تجربیات جدید فرزندانتان بگشایید. موسیقی، هنر، نمایشنامه، ادبیات، علوم، رهبری، مسافرت، انواع ورزش و.. با تشویق و عرضه ی تجربیات برای کودکان به آنها فرصت تنوع بدهید و ببینید در چه زمینه ای استعداد دارند. بگذارید هر فعالیتی که توجه آن ها را بیشتر جلب کرد، دنبال کنند. چه از آن خوششان بیاید و چه نیاید. به عبارتی باید روشن باشید و از هر چه بدتان می آید ردش نکنید.

_ استعدادهای ویژه در کودکان خود را کشف کرده و در جهت شکوفایی و پرورش هوش آنان گام بردارید. اگر بچه ی شما دارد کلید پیانو را فشار دهد به او فرصت کار دهید و درس های پیانو را برایش در نظر بگیرید. بچه هایی که قدرت تکلم بالایی دارند، از همان اوان کودکی به خواندن و نوشتن علاقه نشان می دهند. به استعدادیابی در کودکتان بپردازید و در جهت شکوفایی آن استعدادها تلاش کنید.

_ به منحصر به فرد بودن کودک خود ارج نهاده و او را تشویق کنید. به علائق، بی علاقگی ها، استعدادها و توانایی ها ی هر فرد صرف نظر تفاوتی که با دیگران دارد، احترام بگذارید و مادامی که این تفاوت ها، وی را به ورطه ی سقوط نکشاند و موجبات گمراهی او  را فراهم نیاورد، به سرکوب آنها بپردازید. در واقع آنها را تشویق کنید، همانی  که هستند، باشند.

_ بچه ها را در راه درست انجام امور حفظ کنید. اغلب بچه ها مواخذه می شوند که مثلا چرا فلان کار غلط را انجام داده اند. زوم کردن بر روی خطاها و تقبیح دائمی سبب میشود حس ارزشمند بودن و ابتکار و نوآوری در فرد کشته شود. انتقاد از کودک به رشد او کمک زیادی نمی کند، بلکه باید سعی کنید نکات مثبت را در او تشویق و ترغیب نمایید.

_ هرگز تمام زمان کودک را با برنامه های کاری و فعالیت های تمام وقت پر نکنید. چنین برنامه ی پر مشغله ای سبب طغیان کودک شده و ممکن است روزی به تمام کارها پایان دهد و کلا برنامه ها را زیر پا بگذارد. شما فقط تشویق گر و راهنمای آنان باشید.

3- در خانه مفهوم امنیت و آرامش را متجلی سازید. 

کودک شما به شما و همسرتان به عنوان یگانه پایگاه عملیات می نگرد. محیط خانه برای او باید آرام باشد. چگونه می توانید مطمئن شوید که خانواده ی شما یک پایگاه امن و پایدار است ونه  یک کانون نزاع و درگیری و چنین وضعی در آن حفظ خواهد شد؟

_ خصوصی فرض کنید و خصوصی محفوظ بدارید. جنگ و جدال توام با فحاشی و ترور شخصیت در خصوص بچه ها چیزی جز سوء استفاده ی محدود بچه ها نیست. این رویه سبب تحقیر و آسیب احساسی فرزندان می شود و تمام مشکلات به عدم کنترل خود مربوط می شود. شما باید بتوانید در لحظات بحرانی خود را کنترل کرده و به صورت خصوصی موضوع را مطرح نمایید.

_ از جنگ طلبی بپرهیزید و قیافه ی حق به جانب به خود نگیرید. بحث را بر سر چه کسی درست میگوید و چه کسی غلط کنار بگذارید. از نظر بچه ها این بحث معنا ندارد.

_ نگویید که نمی توانید خود را کنترل نمایید

_ اگر نمی توانید بر سر اختلافات راه حل مناسبی پیدا کنید، حداقل به بچه هایتان پیدا کردن راه حل مسالمت آمیز را نشان دهید.

_ از کاربرد الگوی کلامی رکیک بپرهیزید. شما در زندگی فرزندانتان نقش محوری را ایفا می کنید. وقتی دشنام می دهید، ایراد می گیرید و یا فرزند خود را تحقیر می کنید در او علامتی همیشگی باقی میگذارید.

_ فعالانه در حمایت از یکدیگر اقدام کنید. حمایت همه روزه از یکدیگر را به رویه ی خانوادگی تبدیل نمایید.

4- به نقش ها و نسبت های هر عضو خانواده احترام گذاشته و اذعان نمایید. 

در یک خانواده سالم و به هم پیوسته، هر کسی یک نقش خاص دراد. در واقع هر کسی باید احساس کند و بداند که در ساختار خانواده نقش دارد اگر چه این نقش مشهور و ملموس دارد. اگر چه نقش های افراد در هر خانواده متفاوت و در شرف تغییر است و در یک خانواده ی سالم هیچ دو نقش متضادی برای فرزندان و والدین وجود ندارد. در خانواده سلسله مراتب حاکم است و نقش ها بر ساس همین سلسله مراتب تفویض می گردند. در این راستا لازم است:

_ شخصیت برتر خانواده باشید.

_ برای خانواده ی خود تصمیم گیری نمایید.
